Job Description

This is a competitively paid internship for an ideal duration of 3 to 6 months period.

• Assistance of the QR-team in day-to-day duties
• Optimisation of given MySQL-queries in connection with R
• Automation of existing analysis tasks with R
• Delivery of various analyses

Qualifications

• Degree (B.Sc/M.Sc.) in Statistics or related (e.g. computer science, economics…)
• Good command of English
• Passion for statistics
• High interest in the sports betting industry
• Knowledge of R and MySQL

Additional information

The Bookmaking Department is in charge of Tipico’s core service - the sports betting offer. The Quantitative Research team develops statistical models and tools to assist bookmakers, traders and risk managers in their daily work.
