Siemens Corporate Technology China has an immediate opening in Shanghai, China, for a Research Scientist in the field of Image Analysis.
Core responsibilities for the candidate include:

• Quick prototyping of software systems.
• Perform research in the area of image analysis to advance the state-of-the-art, including generating publications in top journals and conferences.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Master or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with work experience.
• Excellent C++ programming skills.
• Skilled in a scripting language (Python, Matlab, or Perl).
• Experience with developing 3D visualization tools.
• Experience with VTK, OpenGL, OpenCV, GPU programming.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
